The quickest way to reach us

WhatsApp, honestly. The workshop is noisy and the phone is not always the fastest route to an answer, whereas a message can be read between jobs and replied to properly. Write in English — that is not a problem here.

Whatever you use, these four things get you a useful reply first time instead of three messages of back and forth:

• Make, model, year and engine. “A 2014 Golf 1.6 TDI” tells us more than “a Golf”.
• What the car is actually doing. Plain words are better than technical guesses: a noise, a smell, a warning light, a puddle under the car, a date on the windscreen sticker.
• When it started, and whether it happens cold, hot, braking, turning or all the time.
• When you need the car back. If the timing is not realistic we would rather tell you now than on the day.

There is also an appointment form on our Spanish contact page, which fills in a WhatsApp message for you: contacto y cita previa. It works perfectly well if you write your part of it in English.

How to get here

We are on the main avenue through Pedreguer, Avinguda de Jaume I, 46, so you do not have to navigate the old town to find us.

• From Denia — about 12 minutes on the CV-725 towards Pedreguer. The workshop is on the main avenue as you come through.
• From Ondara — about 6 minutes. Handy either side of an ITV appointment at the station.
• From Gata de Gorgos — about 7 minutes on the Pedreguer road.
• From Xàbia (Jávea) — roughly 20 minutes via Gata de Gorgos.
• From Teulada, Moraira, Benissa or Calpe — head for Gata de Gorgos and follow the same road in.

There is parking on the avenue. If you are dropping the car off before we open, ring first and we will tell you where to leave it and what to do with the keys.

Dropping the car off and picking it up

Because we do not close at lunchtime, the usual pattern works well: leave the car in the morning, get on with your day, collect it in the afternoon. For anything that needs parts ordered, we will tell you when you book roughly how long the parts take — and we will not start the job until the parts are here and you have agreed the quote.

If the car is not safe to drive, say so when you call. That changes the answer.

Before you come in

Bring the vehicle documents — the permiso de circulación and the ficha técnica — for anything involving the ITV, an exhaust modification or a change that has to be recorded on the paperwork. For a service or a repair you do not need them, but the service book is useful if you have it.

And if you are not sure whether the thing your car is doing is urgent, ask. We would much rather answer a message than see the car on the back of a recovery truck.
